Rujuta's creative journey began in India during her early childhood, where she was captivated by the colors and vibrancy of local art and design. From a young age, she found joy in painting and sketching, and it has been a constant passion ever since. As an adult, she lived in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, where the diverse people, cultures, and art forms of these countries further shaped her artistic expression.

A self-taught artist and lifelong art lover, Rujuta's paintings reflect the world around her. For Rujuta, the process of creating art is not solely about the end result but the journey itself — an idea unfolding through the serendipity of colors and strokes coming together. It is an inner exploration of emotions that find expression on the canvas, as she works through her own thoughts and feelings through her art.

Through her work, Rujuta strives to convey the emotions, experiences, and perspectives that shape her worldview. Each painting is a visual story — a culmination of her artistic journey, and a testament to her passion for self-expression through color, stroke, and texture

She has exhibited at major art fairs across New York, Palm Beach, and beyond, and is represented by galleries in Canada, Ohio, and Florida.
